Hi all sorry for the wait...

Well as Dee told you she left me at the hospital around 3.30 my contractiond were every 6 mins painful but bearable i was taken straight to the labour ward and left to settle into my room at around 4pm i was given a birthing ball and the gas n air so i bounced away while having 3 contractions evry 10 mins 2 were strong the middle one mild this pattern continued through the whole labour by 4.30 i was in a lot of pain so given an internal was 4 -5cm fully effaced at 5:20 they gave me dia-morphine and anti sickness injections but i threw up twice then every thing slowed down and my oh says that i started reciting the scripts from eastenders and coronation street then getting angry at the cast for not getting their lines right .... space man is all i can say lol
at 7:30 the midwifes were changing and i asked if they would break my waters they said no gggrrrrrr i knew if they did she would be born anyway the new midwife was great and at 9pm i asked for more diamorphine she looked at me and said you want me to pop your waters or do you want the diamorphine i said pop em so she did and ava jane was born 5 mins after at 9:22pm weighing 7lb15.5oz with loads of black hair she was also 54cm but looks tiny
