I got the confirmation in the post today - well an invoice for the extras like the entertainment passes, bedlinen, electric etc

Annoyingly though - there was no mention on the wesbite - they charge a minimum of 4 people for the entertainment pass - even though I booked for 2 adults and kids under 5 are supposed to be free, so thats £11 for nothing! Rolling Eyes

Still a good price though, Haven are showing it as £245 on their website for the caraven thats smaller than the one I booked - and we've paid £133 - so cant moan!

I got a haven one through the sun with the extras on, they discounted Chloe's off though. Maybe give them a call, could be an error x

I got that letter yesterday too, I was shocked that we had to pay extra too. Our entertainment passes were free as I'd specifically chosen a date when they were free and I thought once I'd paid the £62.50 (£2.50 was the booking fee) that was it. Was not expecting a letter saying we had to pay an extra £41.80 but can't quibble really as the full price is £230 if we'd booked with them but I agree they should make it clearer in the booking there would be extras to pay.

You can ask for the linen charge to be taken off and take your own bedding but we've left it on as I can't be bothered carting 3 beds worth of bedding half way across the country and that includes beds made up on arrival so less to do when we get there. xx

Yeh I thought about saving £14 for linen, but cant be bothered - cos have to take towels as it is!

I did know the invoice would come as I had checked the extra costs - but still there is no mention of it being for a minimum of 4 people! Will ring and see!

Laura we are off to Haven Riviere Sands in Cornwall in the spring

Yeah we had our confirmation through too a few weeks ago, they tried charging an extra £54 on top of the £40 we'd paid, they put on the invoice they had added the linen and entertainment passes 'for our convenience', I rang them and said I didnt want them so only had to pay the service charge (which was £24, so whole holiday is costing us £64). xx

How come you didn't want the entertainment passes?!

They are really cheap in the offer and cost a bomb if you buy them there - and they cover everything like the kids activities and night shows - everything except the pay as go sports like archery.

TBH they didnt offer a lot at the park we're going to and with a toddler and a 4ish month old, we'll probably just be having days out etc. and dont really do the night shows etc because Libby is so routined - she goes to bed at 6:30 and if shes up later shes a nightmare! xx
