any ideas? relatively cheap n cheerful for elijah, he loves the bath but just sitting with a ducky isn't doing it for him anymore, we take his stacking cups in which are pretty good too but was thinking of something either to pour with or to stick to the side for 8 months+

Morrisons is really good for this at the mo, their baby event as such is coming to an end and they have the munchkin bath toys really cheap. They have 10 squirter animals for £3, this star fish thing that squirts water up £2, this turtle thats sort of a car on floor and floats on water £2, the stacking catterpillar cups but they have holes in the bottom for water to fall through and make different patterns, there are a couple more good ones but that is all i can remember off the top of my head.

The best for Andrew and Sophie at that age were the foam letters that stick to skin and the bath and tiles etc Very Happy

Kinda girlee, but Maky has a pull string butterflies bath toy that is pretty cute. You pull their strings and they swim/flutter in the tub, and you have to try to catch them with their net. She also has a tugboat that she loves that came with a some cool wind up little accessories. But what she loves most of all is when I put Mr. Bubbles in the tub! Can't do it too often as it dries out her skin..but she would sit in the water till its either cold..or the bubbles disappear. xxx

Chloe has these little foam people that you put on different outfits, they stick to the wall and she loves dressing them up, but I've no idea where they came from

Wil has way too many bath toys and they go in and out of favour with him.

He has:

  • Thomas Tidmouth bath sheds - trains that pour water in different ways (fairly rubbish)
  • water flutes - fill with water for different sounds (good but he is too little for them really)
  • cups and saucers set (£3 from Tesco) - he loves making tea in the bath (only thing is the teapot is stupid because it doesn't pour through a spout)
  • Megablocks boat - loves filling it with water until it sinks
  • Winnie the Pooh treehouse - loves it, has a waterwheel that he can pour water onto, 3 characters that go in a swing or down a slide and a bubble machine that he can operate

  • bath squirters - fill with water and squeeze, good but he needs help to fill them and after a while they go manky and squirt more algae than water.
Wil loves it when OH or I get in the bath with him and we sing action songs or splash him.
