I saw this idea on a friend FB and thought maybe some of you lovely ladies would like to try it.

It can be like a secret santa but using only homemade goods. They can be whatever you like as long as they can be sent and received via post.

It'd work the same way as the secret santa, one person co-ordinates the addresses. We'd have say 3 months to make and send something, or less time if you think that'd be better. When you receive something you take a pic and post it so that everyone else can see what was made for you.

I just throught we had some very talented ladies on here who might like the chance to make something as a project for someone who you know would really appreciate it.

There would have be a price guide though as you'd be pretty peed off you sent a hand made kingsize quilt and received a painted boiled egg hehe!

I would be up for this, i have lots of sewing kit and a few courses coming up, so would love the opportunity to make something for someone. I think Pen has a good point though about price guide, otherwise it could be quite difficult to guage how far to go!

Tamsen absolutely anything as long as you've made it yourself. Could be homemade Jam, a nappy wrap, blanket, necklace, cake anything at all.

Penny I think you have a good point too. Maybe if we see who's interested I can run a poll and we can vote for an appropriate max/min amount to spend?
