I dont know how many times we have argued about how he lets hannah away with absolutely everything.
anything she wants she gets its really doing my head in.

today she had on really cosy pjs with feet on them and she wanted to change into thin summer pjs with a tshirt. so Ive explained to her that no she had cosy pjs on and she has a cough so she needs to stay warm. it started a tantrum but I was letting her cry it out.
next thing I know she has the *$%£ pjs she wanted on. it really does my head in. its teaching her nothing except that if mummy doesnt let her daddy will.

few weeks ago we were out shopping and she wanted to walk but we were in the last shop and every time she had been out of the buggy before then she got too tired and by this point she was driving us crazy with her moaning. she asks to get out. oh says no, I turn my back for 2 seconds and shes out the buggy.

he pulls out toys 10 minutes before bedtime if she even shows a tiny sign of a tear escaping.
it is driving me blooody mental.

ah no that would really piss me off too, Adam has been really good so far in backing me up!
this is what he needs.

ah jo I dont know how many times we have went through it. I feel like Im talking to myself. its really getting me down now because Im always the bad one. and when she falls or is ill its daddy she wants not me.

That would piss me off too. Paul and I always read from the same page as far as the kids are concerned if either of us is unsure what to do we ask the other for advice. MJ tries to say to hubby can I do this, that or the other and he says have you asked mummy? If she says no he asks me did she ask me etc...

I think you need to have a sit down with him because you don't want him making a rod for his own back. I know watching your kids cry because they can't get their own way is more painful for the parent than it is for the child but tomorrow the child will have forgotten that they weren't allowed a chocolate button or whatever but what they won't forget is "I'm not going to ask mummy, I'm going to daddy cuz he's a soft touch"

you didnt come across harsh at all. this is exactly how I feel about it.
me and hannah have been in alone all day and yes we have had a few tantrums because she couldnt get what she wanted but she was over it in seconds and we have had a lovely day.
