so, can i make these purees (just one thing on its own then i can mix them later), and can i freeze them???

tomato (just the flesh, no seeds or skin), cauliflower, broccoli, sweet potato and baked potato....

im just wondering how they freeze, i was planning on just pureeing them without adding milk or anything, then adding milk (eg to the potato) when it's defrosted...does this work??? Very Happy

I just freeze them in ice cube trays then put them in freezer bags with the date on. I usually use everything within 6 weeks. I just put mixtures of things together like pinky said x

well we had baked potato for tea so i mashed one up for elijah and did a few sweet potatos and pureed them and put them in pots in the freezer, they seem quite sticky but i can always add ebm when they are defrosted Smile

I freeze almost everything. I used to cook enough for a week on a sunday night. That was I knew nothing would fester at the back of the freezer. If you're concerned about what is safe to freeze then get a baby recipe book and follow some recipes in there, it'll tell you x
