my oh runs a kids fball team so is away half the day on a sunday!
he knows im majorly stressed jst now and gettin very little sleep bcos evan is up half the night jst now and gettin up at 6/6.30 every morning
im up at 7 for work anyway during week days and he gets up for evan wen i leave, at the wkends we used to do i wud get up on a sat and he wud get long lie and he wud get up on a sun and i wud get long lie well til he had to get ready at 9
but now it seems im up sat and sun with evan he has to get up by 9.30 on a sat tho as i have an exercise class
i was meant to go out last night to get a break and some time to myself but didnt he ended up goin to pub in afternoon then bringing his mates back here he came to bed at 4am woke evan up by noise he was making so i had to settle him and then evan was awake 6am so i had to get up
he has had tantrum after tantrum today, is tormenting our dog and whilst i was jst havin a shower he managed to get the shampoo bottle and squeezed whole lot on floor and i fell in bath tryin to get it off him so seriously havin a bad wk
oh jst got home and i said i was off to buy some shelves for the bathroom and that i jst wanted to get out
told him i wasnt taking evan and the look i got was unreal i swear to god the only time i dont have evan with me is when im at work and my exercise class he can come and go as he pleases to football, to training, to pub and never is it questioned why he cant take evan
and he then turns and says why is it ur not takin evan i said cos i want 5 min to myself, he is crabby and has never slept today and he says well u will have to wait til i have shower and sumit to eat (lol did he wait til i have shower no he didnt care that evan had to come in bathroom with me, did he wonder how i managed to have food with jst me and evan no he didnt care) so i said ok u goin in shower now he said yeah this was 10 min ago and he is still sat on his arse on his computer
i swear that computer is his whole life!!

I don't blame you for moaning! I think you're being pretty restrained actually, I would have been throwing stuff at his head by now! He is seriously taking the piss!

My oh is the same sometimes when I ask him to watch Milo when i'm working, he loves watching milo, but he'll say "But I'm hungry now.." and make big puppy dog eyes, and i have to ask him how he thinks i cope all day! Does he think i don't eat?? haha. Mind you i came home from work today and he was cooking his lunch with Milo in the baby carrier on his back

I think its quite hard to get men to understand how much hard work it is to look after a toddler/baby.

My OH plays football on a Sat pm and a Sun am and he is only 'allowed' (lol) to do this because he helps take responsiblity for Aimee on the other two half days and also helps out when he gets home from work in the evenings.

You need to sit him down and tell him how exhausted you are and hope he listens x

i have laura ive been feelin like this for past 2 wks
feel terrible for feeling like this cos i choose to have evan its not his fault he is a handfull lol!
ive been tellin oh im exhausted and he says yeah he will do more and for one day he does but then thats it this morning wen i said i was cracking up he said wen evans older ill take him with me to the football thats not wat i wanted all i wanted was some feckin sleep for him to come to bed a reasonable time at wkend so i can get a long lie and not to make me feel like shit for not takin evan to the bloody shops with me or for wanting a wee break from evan
infact i even said sumit yest aswell and his response was u wanted a baby so i told him jst to get to feck and if thats how he felt he wud be aswell packin and he jst laughed n said im tellin truth
he genuinly thinks cos he takes evan for the 4 hrs a day im at work (mon-fri) and the 3hrs a week i go to exercise class then he dont have to have him rest of time

I've had this a few times with Matt. He's had a right stress just cause i've asked him to look after Immi for 10mins. Sometimes i've found just having a good old scream at him works. but that's probs not the bed advice. Hope he stops being an ass soon xx
