PostSubject: BT 150 digital baby monitor   Thu Aug 19, 2010 5:05 pm

I had to review this monitor as I find it so fantastic. I bought it to replace my TT sensor mat monitor that broke after only 3 months use.

I has no feedback or static like many other monitors which is a massive plus for me. I still use my monitor now and I know I wouldn't have been able to sleep through the noise of other monitors. I have also managed to drop the parent unit and fully submerge it it water twice and it still works as well as when it can out of the box!

It's also reasonably priced! Less than £60! Much cheaper than my TT one and 100 times better.

I'm not the only one who loves it, it's also won a couple of awards;

Winner - Best Baby Monitor - Mother & Baby magazine 08/09
Best Buy - Baby Monitor - Which Magazine Sept 08

Here's the blurb and features from the BT site;

The BT Baby Monitor 150 provides advanced features such as Mp3 plug-in and integrated thermometer, DECT digital technology, polyphonic lullabies, rechargeable batteries and a torch on the parent handset - High definition sound gives you a new level of sound quality - so real it sounds like your baby is in the room with you, MP3/CD audio source* lets you play your baby's favourite music at bedtime to help them sleep. With a sleek stylish design, not just practical and packed with features for your peace of mind, but with its sophisticated clean lines and styling it looks great in any room and you'll be eager to show it off - Furthermore the Vibrate function gives you peace of mind without the disturbance of standard baby monitors.

Mine that broke was the Graco - when it worked it was amazing, but one day I took the plug out to vacuum and it never worked again!

We have the same - and it's been no bother. Only thing is the music timing out after about 12 minutes - wish there was a feature to change that and have it on constant until you turn it off - another bonus though is that the temperature warnings (too hot or cold) can be adjusted as you see fit - very helpful. Although I am yet to find a way to set the time on the time on the parent unit and it stay saved - resets when you turn it off.

Just to add - tiny teeth can tear / bite into the rubber on the front. Guess who's not allowed the parent monitor any more Rolling Eyes Laughing
