Bathing awen sat night and noticed a bruise on right shoulder at the back about half the size of my palm. Was a bit concerned cos i cant think how its got there and nor can neil.We hold her fairly gently and C is always supervised with her.

Anyways mentioned it to HV today at weighing in clinic. She noticed that Awen marks really easily which ive noticed before. I only have to hold her and shes covered in red marks. She thinks its a combination of easily marked skin and the fact shes so mobile for her age. I am now frequently finding her at the top of her cot when ive put her to bed at the bottom and ive watched how she does it, she pulls her knees up then pulls with her arms and shoves with her legs and scoots forward like a little worm. She thinks perhaps on one of her little wiggling sprees shes kncked or rolled onto something and has suggested i cover the bars of the cot with something. She did say if she gets any more bruises to get her examined so will be keeping a close eye now

Just wondering if anhyone else has had this in tiny ones when they cant explain any marks on em? You would have thought id have known how it got there but ive no clue and i dont suspect anyone else of bruising her either

Imogen was always very active from a young age, like Awen she used to wiggle round the cot lots. She'd get bruises or little marks that we couldn't explain either, i just used to put it down to bumping herself in the cot &marking easily. I bruise really easily, I'm literally always covered in bruises, my family actually asked once if Matt hit me! I think she might have just got it from me.
I've never gotten Immi checked out as they were never huge bruises/marks that caused real concern.

Cheers shell, this is quite a big un like i say about half the size of the palm of my hand and v noticeable and neither neil or i bruise easily at all, in fact ive got skin like a rhino and only bruise really if i severely hurt myself which is why i checked with HV but im glad to hear its happened with someone else. Just went up after her nap and found her crawling up her cot so its probably form being mobile very early. Roll on stunt baby two i fear
